Do good with Federation's monthly volunteer initiative, Mitzvah Meals! Drop off bagged lunches and Federation will deliver them to clients of Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center and Elizabeth House, local organizations that feed those experiencing food insecurity in Howard County.
Lunches should include:​
Bottle of water (no juice boxes, please)
One Sandwich
Suggestions: Meat and cheese, tuna salad, chicken salad
*No nuts, PB&J, or plain cheese sandwiches
Salty snack
Sweet snack
A piece of fresh fruit, fruit cup, or fruit snack
Please pack the lunches in a paper lunch bag and write the type of sandwich on the outside. Feel free to decorate the bags and include an encouraging note!

Please drop off the lunches between 9:30 - 10:30 am
Drop-Off is located in Columbia, MD near the mall - address and directions will be included in your confirmation email.
