Do good with Federation's monthly volunteer initiative, Mitzvah Meals! Drop off bagged lunches and Federation will deliver them to clients of Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center and Elizabeth House, local organizations that feed those experiencing food insecurity in Howard County.
Lunches should include:
Bottle of water (no juice boxes, please)
One Sandwich
Suggestions: Meat and cheese, tuna salad, chicken salad
*No nuts, PB&J, or plain cheese sandwiches
Salty snack
Sweet snack
A piece of fresh fruit, fruit cup, or fruit snack
Please pack the lunches in a paper lunch bag and write the type of sandwich on the outside. Feel free to decorate the bags and include an encouraging note!

Directions:
Turn into the parking lot off of Governor Warfield Parkway, and look for the JFHC volunteers on the right of the lot. This is the side of the parking lot near Wilde Lake High School. You will put the lunches directly into the cars of our volunteers.
